From Online Brochure to Online Asset

Is now the time to focus on improving your website?  You bet!  Now more than ever companies are realizing that their website can, and should be, much more than an informational piece.  It’s an online asset, used to help your company achieve your goals.


Take, for example the budget cuts marketers are now facing.  According to an Association of National Advertisers (ANA) survey, 93% of responding marketers said they were now making budget cuts—and 76% of those cuts are coming out of advertising.  Those same marketers are switching their traditional media buys to online, Pay-Per-Click (Search) campaigns and banner ads to maintain or grow awareness of their company and/or brand, and to drive traffic to their website.


But what good is all that traffic if the website isn’t part of the overall campaign.  What do you want visitors to do once they get to your site?  Sign up for an eNewsletter?  Do you have a sign up form prominently placed on your home page?  Do you want to raise awareness of a new product or promotion — the visitor path to get them to that product page should clear on your site.
